These popular foodie festivals gather the best that New York City has to offer.
No matter what time of year you visit New York City, there’s sure to be a culinary celebration somewhere.
Savoring the Summer
Food, music, dancing, food, drinks, food… did we mention food? The annual Taste of Times Square offers up small dishes from dozens of restaurants around the city, with flavors of just about every cuisine imaginable. The event takes place in one of New York City’s most iconic destinations: Times Square. It’s an essential foodie event if you are visiting in June.
Flavors in the Fall
Held every September in the Belmont Little Italy section of the Bronx, the Ferragosto food festival celebrates all things Italian. Attendees can sample traditional Italian sweets and savories from local eateries, pick up imported specialty products and listen to the sounds of Italian music and entertainers.
Winter Feasts
A taste of the Southern USA comes to Manhattan in January with the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival. This traveling food fest features all-you-can-handle beer and bourbon with a tempting array of barbecue dishes. Tickets are limited for each event – get yours early!
In February, Manhattan’s Chinatown rings in the Lunar New Year with colorful street celebrations, a parade and samples of some of the best Chinese food around. Enjoy traditional Chinese New Year dishes to honor long life, good luck, family and home while taking in the sights and sounds of Chinese culture.

The Tastes of Spring
They say there’s nothing like New York City in the spring. Add a good food festival and it’s simply heaven. April brings the Bacon and Beer Classic to Queens, an event featuring craft beer and unique pork-centric dishes along with contests, music and games.
Wine lovers, head to Brooklyn in May for Brooklyn Uncorked. Enjoy food samples from local restaurants along with tastes from dozens of New York’s award-winning wineries. Be sure to pick up a bottle of your favorite wine while you’re there.
